Dietician for Sleeping Disorders in Inder Puri; Researchers divided people into three dietary groups after examining dietary samples. Group one was distinguished by a high intake of fruits, vegetables, and legumes. The "prudent" dietary group was the name given to this group. The second dietary group, known as the "Western" diet, was distinguished by a high intake of processed meat, snacks, red meat, and takeout meals. Group three, sometimes known as the "mixed" dietary group, consisted of individuals who did not fit into any of the previous groups. In contrast to the other groups, the cautious diet group had a tendency to be older, lighter, less depressed, more well educated, use less alcohol and smokes, and be more active. Additionally, compared to people in the other dietary categories, those in this group of people fell asleep more quickly (sleep onset was 16.3 minutes in the prudent dietary pattern group, 19.2 minutes in the Western dietary pattern group, and 22.5 minutes in the mixed pattern group).
